Amid contract renewal talks, Corden has gone around talking about a post-Late Late Show future (https://www.eonline.com/news/1047184/james-corden-gets-honest-about-his-future-at-the-late-late-show). This summer, he took a month off from his show to film BBC's Gavin & Stacey reunion special. He's also appeared in movies ranging from Cats to Yesterday to Ocean's Eight. When asked about Corden's future, CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl said: "We are very much hoping to work with James Corden for a long long time."

Ever since replacing Craig Ferguson as host of The Late Late Show James Corden has gone from successful comedian and actor in the UK to a huge household name in America and I can say CBS really made a smart move in choosing James Corden as host of The Late Late Show. Because unlike other British celebrities who try to be successful in America and end up being a one hit wonder James Corden has proven to be not just a guy who rests on his laurels but by being a huge success James Corden has only become a star in America but one of CBS's biggest celebrities. From becoming a popular voice actor by appearing in animated movies such as Dreamworks Trolls and The Emoji Movie to Smallfoot and Peter Rabbit to being a commercial star as the spokesman for Keurig I don't think James Corden shows no sign of quitting his talk show and because of his awesome success CBS will keep him around for a long time. Because James Corden has an appeal that everyone likes and I think he will become the new Regis Philbin and because of CBS's smart move James Corden will be even more famous in America and expand his career to maybe recording albums or hosting game shows for CBS in the future

It is too bad James Corden didn't get the Late Show instead of Stephen Colbert. Colbert sucks, Corden is a much better host.
