“Unfortunately, the Victoria’s Secret Show won’t be happening this year,” the Victoria's Secret Angel told The Daily Telegraph. In May, it was revealed the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show wouldn't have a network home (https://deadline.com/2019/05/victorias-secret-fashion-show-tv-specials-ending-ceo-memo-1202612439/) in 2019. Last year, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show aired on ABC after calling CBS its home from 2005 through 2017.

Why I think Victoria's Secret decided to cancel it's annual fashion show this year is because Victoria's Secret didn't want to spend money producing it and ever since the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show switched from CBS to ABC last year the ratings were low and ABC thought it would be successful. But this may be the end of Victoria's Secret and with the fashion show cancelled I can predict that Victoria's Secret will go bankrupt and close all stores in the years ahead. Because when Victoria's Secret first debuted it was a store that was all ladylike and elegant and sold good quality clothing such as bathrobes and nightgowns and silky Japanese style kimonos as morning jackets and played classical music throughout the store to make it seem like you were shopping at a lovely shop in England. But all that changed when Victoria's Secret changed it's image when they brought out the PINK clothing line for juniors and it seemed that Victoria's Secret was trying to attract the teenage market and the quality of the clothing went downhill and not only that Victoria's Secret has changed the music from classical to high energy dance music that you hear at a club and it seems that Victoria's Secret has transformed into a version of Old Navy. But what I think is Victoria's Secret's selling point is their beauty items and perfumes like the Angels series and shampoos and for the same thing you can go to a beauty store like Sally Beauty Supply or Ulta Beauty for better perfume and shampoos. But due to this news I think Victoria's Secret will be hurt because the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is such an iconic event that showcases all the new and upcoming fashions that Victoria's Secret will release next year and features the new handbags and tote bags and Victoria's Secret releases a different purse and tote bag for every fashion show every year. I guess Mom and I won't get a new Victoria's Secret purse and tote bag this year because we have collected them from every Victoria's Secret Fashion Show every time we shop at the store during Black Friday
