I think I remember an episode where he relents and lets her have the window cleaners come, but he gives it to her as a gift.

I think he tells her he left his golf clubs at the club to have them cleaned so has to let her have the windows cleaned. He might have added she can have them done for Christmas.

I suppose that's better than giving her dirty windows for Christmas.
