Sunday would have been better since I may have a date:lol:

Sounds like a cool marathon and I hope they are not stupid enough to air episodes without Vinny

I want to see the Jeepers Creepers episode

My louse of an affiliate is interrupting the 4-6PM episodes of the marathon Saturday to air golf from FOX on Antenna while they have a preseason NFL game on the main FOX station. They could have aired the golf on Bounce instead of Antenna (both substations of FOX in my area). Until now WFFT hadn't dumped sports on Antenna like WANE did all the time, may it not continue after Saturday.

All the marathon episodes will have John Travolta in them. The only season 4 episode in the marathon is the last one at 9:30, and that is one with him.

M*A*S*H is one of the best shows ever. Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley were also ones I liked.

OK, I am mostly a fan of shows from a the earlier days when I was younger like The Many Loves of Dobie Gillies and Father Knows Best and those shows, but I do like shows from the 70's as well.

Okay, I haven't watched this yet, but I'm confused about something. On my DVR it says "Episode 3" and then it says "Pilot". How can the third episode be the pilot?

The episode Welcome Back is listed as the pilot and normally aired as episode 1 in syndication. When it first aired on ABC it was aired as the 3rd episode because it came off as too rough for ABC Network executives

I think they wanted viewers to see the likable side of the sweathoggs first before showing the pilot episode

Even this promo below shows the sweathoggs in a likable way versus the way they came off in that pilot

They did eventually but that pilot episode made it seem like they would give Kotter pure hell every episode lol

It certainly did. I suppose that was the intimidation factor of the new teacher thing. Once they really got to know Kotter he became of course way more than just a teacher.

And to think poor Horshack had his heart taken by Jason Voorheese years later. I'll never be able to dissolve that association.
