If they cut or have commercials don't watch.
Only watch on premiums, or TCM
Exceptions if films are rare and no where available:
FXM, Sony movie channel, MGMHD

I don't watch movies on regular cable channels because they are edited and have commercials in them.

Don't forget DXD, TBS, TNT, Nick, Freeform, Disney channel, sometimes Cartoon Network, MTV, MTV2, as well as other networks I can't list also went with movies too.
Pluto TV online shows movies, but not edited
The only movie channels I watch are TCM and Silver Screen Classics, which is like a Canadian version of TCM that also shows classic movies from the 1930s to the 1960s.
I watch a lot of the movie channels, but mostly the commercial free ones such as TCM, RetroPlex, MoviePlex, Flix, and the StarzEncore channels.
Though sometimes I do watch the movies on cable channels.

I actually prefer watching films(minus the commercial interruptions) on Cable.
I'll watch 'em if it's a movie I really like. Especially if the movie is one that doesn't require a lot of cuts or dubs.

I watch movies on cable all the time. I can get a bunch of the Starz stations but I don't pay for HBO or anything like that. I canceled my Netflix a few months ago b/c I was getting enough "entertainment" watching stuff on cable. Plus I found that I could put movies I wanted to see on hold at the library and even if I was on a wait list for a long long time I will eventually get to see it. Plus, it's free that way.
