i had to go to the oral surgeon cuz my x-ray for my ortho. showed something weird in my gum. so after a couple of months, i finally went. it wasn't a private office. the guy didn't know what it was. it could be a tumor (!), some fillings, or a tooth. i have to get a biopsy done on it but since it's so high up on the gum, i should be put to sleep. they couldn't put me to sleep. and, he also said, that if it's something that needs to be removed, the oral surgeon can just pop my wisdom teeth out too, at the same time. joy. so now, i'm like completely freeked out. my wisdom teeth were suppossed to stay in there for another 2 yrs. and i may have a tumor. this is a great day. anyway...has anyone ever had a biopsy done? i keep thinking about the instruments they are gonna use and the stitches and ewww!!!

Ugh, I'm sorry Megan! That's horrible. But you're not alone...well, not COMPLETELY, anyway, lol. I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled this summer, and, despite what Karli said in that other post, I am really freaked out. So we can comfort each other.
