New "Flintstones" Series in the Works from Warner Bros. Animation, Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions (EXCLUSIVE)

Warner Bros. Animation and Elizabeth Banks’ Brownstone Productions are teaming up for a new "Flintstones" series, Variety has learned exclusively.

The project, which is in early development, is described as a primetime animated adult comedy series based on an original idea featuring characters from "The Flintstones".

The series will be produced by Warner Bros. Animation. No network is currently attached.

I had always found the original "Flintstones" series, a certain episode (or theatrical movie) separate from it named "The Man Called Flintstone", and certain special episodes based upon it originally (specifically the ones originally produced by the company from which they came (a certain "Hanna-Barbera")) to have had been more than enough both for its main characters and any being living being interested in them (personally I would rather watch one of them rather than any new episode based upon them in the future).

Theres also a new one coming to The Boomerang app. Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs. It follows the adventures of Pebbles, Bam Bam and Dino. The rest of the gang will make apperances.
