This is a favorite old commercial of mine, and if I recall, it had a regular run on TV from late 1974 through early 1975. The commercial has the aura of a balmy summer evening, but when it was filmed during two nights in Gardena California, the temperature was actually a very chilly 35 degrees!

Cool, glad you enjoyed it. :) Ronnie Milsap is also a possibility. I've tried to do research but haven't found information revealing who the singer is.

I liked the commercial but drank Mr Pibb as it was the new kid on the block :wave:

I might be a little off with the timing when this commercial originally ran, I don't recall for sure if it aired in 1974 but definitely remember it aired in 1975, so the timing might be more like Spring and Summer 1975 instead of late 1974 and early 1975.

Enjoyed the old RC commercial even though I never cared that much for the drink. I was always a Coke and Pepsi drinker.
