I watched "The Class Picture" earlier and I was laughing so hard when I saw Wally with that huge walkie talkiie that he was trying to use to talk to Eddie. Wow, that thing is bigger than an old cell phone! :lol:https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTQ4NDEwMTY0M15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwOTQwNTEzMjE@._V1_UY268_CR87,0,182,268_AL_.jpg

Yeah, and they never did get it to work.

Love how he thinks he’s taking to Eddie on the walkie talkie and he’s outside the window.

At the end of the episode wasn't Wally still trying to get it to work?
Gilbert should have gotten some grief in that episode (maybe Beaver should have "clobbered" him). He's such a weasel and always seems to get off scot-free. Even when he and Richard were at the old house (another episode, of course) and Richard broke the window, he got away.

I hate that smarmy look he has on his face when he says “You’ll find out” after Beaver made the face. That’s when Beaver was at his most vulnerable. Beaver just kept being friends with the weasel. He should at least bring up all the times Gilbert got him in trouble. He even left him stuck in the car after it rolls out of the driveway. At least Richard was repentant, Gilbert never was.

I'm not 100% sure but he probably ran off after Beaver "broke" the golf club, too. And the movie theater exit door--he had pulled that a few weeks before.
The worst thing Richard did was give Beaver's name when he broke the window, and as you said, he apologized. Even Larry apologized for his misdeeds (when forced).
Richard spilled oil on Wally's suit, but really did nothing else major other than the broken window.

Yeah, he kept saying "Come in, Eddie!"

I wish Gilbert would have been clobbered at least once. He's cute but he's so irritating! He gets away with everything!

Beaver should have belted Gilbert on Mary Margaret's porch. "You don't mess with MY girl!"
