How in the world did Disney come up with a live action version of The Lion King? I cannot figure why Disney decided to do it in the first place and I cannot see how it will make money and be good when it opens July 19th. I have seen previews of the live action The Lion King and I think it looks very unappealing and I think the original animated The Lion King is a lot more superb. I think the only thing that will cause the movie to make millions at the box office is Beyonce who will provide the voice in The Lion King

Kids don't really care about that.

It will probably do well, like most children's movies, since kids don't go alone to the theater and the ticket sales get double/triple the revenue from their family, friends... whatever outing they go with.
