"Cash Cab" Reboot Ordered by Bravo with Ben Bailey as Host

Bravo is reviving Emmy-winning game show "Cash Cab", from Lion Television, an All3Media company, with original host Ben Bailey. "Cash Cab" begins shooting this summer and will premiere later this year.

In this series reboot set in New York City, the stakes are higher than the original, the car will be upgraded and the questions will include more for lovers of pop culture, according to Bravo.




Each episode will feature three games, and much like the original series it will all start the second the contestant enters the Cash Cab. If the passenger can answer enough questions correctly before making it to their destination, they’ll win big bucks.

However, three wrong answers and they’re kicked out of the Cash Cab and back on the street. Along the way they’ll get two shout-outs – one on social media and the other via a street shout out – where the contestant can pull over and ask a stranger for help.

Passengers who successfully make it to their destination can simply walk away with their money or they can play a double or nothing video bonus round, either going home incredibly happy or with nothing at all.

!!! Oh my gosh !!!Bravo is bringing Cash Cab back? How exciting because Mom loved Cash Cab and so did I and every weekend morning I would get up early just to see Cash Cab reruns because I have a MEGA crush on Ben Bailey and think he's cool and I wonder if now that Bravo is gonna bring Cash Cab back if there will be any new changes in this revival? Hopefully Bravo promotes Cash Cab well because as they say "The Third Time's The Charm" and I hope Ben Bailey brings more interesting humor to the show

BestieThe Cash Cab revival premiered on Bravo Monday night and is 5 days a week with new episodes. Monday-Thursday nights 11:30PM eastern, and Sunday nights 10:30PM eastern. They also have an encore later in the night. I haven't seen it yet, hopefully Bravo puts all the episodes on demand.

Bravo's version of Cash Cab is a big disappointment. All the contestants now are very loud and irritating. They also just have two contestant teams instead of three per episode to make room for more commercials. And the questions have been really dumbed down from the smart writing of the original Discovery version. I tried the first six episodes of Bravo Cash Cab. I don't think I will bother coming back, they have ruined it. :(
