Thanks for creating the thread, yes happy 34th anniversary Nick@Nite. Although I did recall last year, N@N social media like facebook and twitter and instagram even mentioned that Nick@Nite started in 1985, but this year they never mentioned it at all.
Too bad nothing is the same anymore.
In fact back in 2015 for there never even mentioned on the air on TV nor mentioned on social media sites regarding N@N 30th anniversary, but nickandmore (fan site, he doesn't work for Nick) posted about 30th anniversary and the history of Nick at Nite.

The first time I watched Nick@Nite was 1998, I watched Brady Bunch, that was the first show I watched on N@N

I still have VHS of their 20th, back when they were a great network.

I started watching Nick at Nite in late 1994/early 1995. My original favorites were Bewitched, I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, and I Dream of Jeannie. N@N was my introduction to those classic shows and so many more. I watched religiously through around 2000 and then sporadically in the early 2000s.
I haven't watched it in over a decade now though. Between most of the shows being on DVD/streaming and Nick at Nite going from being a really creative, well-branded network to a boring one showing no imagination in show selection, promos, or stunts, it hasn't been anything I've been interested in for a very long time.

The main thing I remember about Nick at Nite was the complete Get Smart marathon they ran in April of 1991. They called it Maximum Smart, it was a week long marathon that ran for 7 nights. I recorded the whole thing on VHS tapes, but I recorded over the tapes and used them for something else after Get Smart got a complete series DVD release in 2006.
I even ordered one of those Nick at Nite Get Smart shoe phones, it was a real phone and I actually used it a few times to make phone calls. But it was cheaply made and didn't function too long as a working phone. I'm not sure if I still have it, if I do it's stored away in a box somewhere, but I think I might have disposed of it since it wasn't working anymore.

I was a kid so I watched a lot of daytime Nickelodeon back then. I remember all the hype Nickelodeon did for the debut of Nick@Nite and I remember watching that first night. Nick@Nite was awesome summertime viewing for about 10 years and then it went in the crapper.
