Did anyone think that this episode appeared much darker than previous episodes. Right from the opening scene of the house the episode lighting was darker.

Yep. And now they're joining the next episode in progress, skipping the beginning. This is starting to look like TV Land.

That’s right I remember they cut out the whole first scene with going to see Miss Thompson’s baby in Chuckie’s Shoes but what did they cut from Beaver’s Accordion?
In Beaver and Kenneth I hadn’t seen that scene in a long time with June all dressed up in the morning to go to Beaver’s school. Why so early?

Also in Beaver and Kenneth Miss Landers tells Ken not to try to buy friends with presents but to give a little of yourself. Kenneth had just said he would say “Hi” to some of the kids and they’d tell him to get lost so he tried to give a little of himself. Miss Landers should have lectured the class on being friendly like in Her Idol.

Yep what was going on at the school? We saw June and Miss L. talking and Wilma Flintstone comes up and says Ward doesn't know how to do anything.

You have a good point about Kenneth. Now I kind of feel sorry for a kid like that. That father sure is a rotten ol' apple, too. You're right, Miss L. should have talked to the class.

One other note about that episode: It's great that Ward believed Beaver vs. Kenneth, it was a nice scene. Then a few episodes later he and June immediately believed Beaver changed his report card, and didn't even believe his denial. Beaver should have gone upstairs and said to Wally, I can't figure Mom and Dad out.

In the episode where Wally gets a ride by his dad for his date - Wally tells the date ... that the driver for the date is his friend (Ward). Nice Writing

Beaver asks Ward if he believed him because Beaver was his son or because he thought he was telling the truth. Ward said a bit of both. Well said writers
