If you watched tonight's episode of Press Your Luck you may be surprised that it made history today as it scored it's biggest winner. Press Your Luck's biggest winner is a girl named Mellanie and although she had quite a rocky road by getting whammied at the beginning of the first Big Board round Mellanie was able to get back on top in the second Big Board round and made it to Press Your Luck's bonus round and became the first player to enter the Big Bucks Bonanza part of the round. Despite getting two whammies at first and almost ending with four whammies Mellanie's true grit shined through to make her the biggest champion of Press Your Luck's history. Mellanie also won maid service and a custom statue of herself and an outdoor movie theater. I was rooting for Mellanie all the way and I almost thought her road was over but you should've seen me whooping with joy when Mellanie became the biggest winner of Press Your Luck and even Elizabeth Banks was impressed at Mellanie's true grit as well

Wow! Mellanie did better on last night's broadcast than that other contestant from last week's episode.

I know I was amazed myself at how well Mellanie played Press Your Luck and I was rooting for her to keep going and I almost thought Mellanie's road to winning was over but she managed to win big by being the first Press Your Luck 2019 winner to date and it was also the very first Press Your Luck 2019 episode I saw for the very first time. Too bad about the guy who whammied out
Thank you very much for replying AMackII

I been a fan of Press Your Luck since I was a kid, and I thought Peter Tomarken was one of the best host of our time. Elizabeth Banks is a great actress and holding her own on hosting a big time show. I watched Mellanie's episode today and I was very impressed of her comeback and I love that they used the same kind of original board not like Whammy with Todd Newton. I just wish they brought back the double Whammy it was more interacting. That said, I love the concept and the New bonus round, I'm very happy with this version of Whammy. P.S. I still miss Peter Tomarken and Rod Roddy, the best partners in game show history in my opinion.
