Two things. If the Bannermans were the Cleaver’s best friends and they only moved away 3 or 4 years ago per Beaver why would Wally think she’s a glamorous and wealthy woman? She just lived in Mayfield. He must have known that pic was of her older sister. They should have had Kitty be like a pen pal from another state who wrote to Wally at camp and shows up in Mayfield.

Also if the dance is Saturday night how does Mrs. Bannerman know about a Mayfield dance living in Terre Haute. (LOL) Also why would Wally write a letter to Kitty when they are staying in Mayfield with her grandmother and the dance is Saturday night. Call her up. Why didn’t June want to see her mother being an old friend.

Also, Kitty says to Wally, Nice to see you again. And wouldn't Wally have reacted to seeing that she's not the girl in the picture?

Another thing--Eddie is too shrewd to have blabbed that there wasn't a basketball practice. He would have known there was some reason Wally told W&J there was one. They could have had Beaver make a slip, like usual.

Right Eddie would be shrewd to play along with the excuse as he wants to help win the Cold War with parents. Again I always thought Beverly Washburn should have played Kitty and Bernadette should have played Jill as she was sort of an “owl.”

Washburn and Withers (sounds like a comedy team)--those two mix me up. One thing for sure--they certainly were on the bit part call list in the 60s. One thing I know is that one of them was a semi-regular on Bachelor Father (I looked it up--it was Withers, as Ginger.)

When Kitty answered the door I thought Wally would do a double take and say he had the wrong house! She certainly wasn’t a glamorous knock out and Wally should have known she was as fake as he.
