A lot of British actors, like Malcolm McDowell, Roddy McDowall, John Hurt, Ian McKellan, Richard Harris, Oliver Reed and Michael Caine. I remember when I finally looked at their filmographies being a little surprised. Yes, they each had that one critically acclaimed or popular movie/movie franchise that put them on the map, but for the most part, they starred in a lot of cheesy bombs and B movies and in the mainstream movies, were little more than background extras half the time.

Also, a lot of leading ladies, like Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, Chloe Moretz, Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie. They didn't appear in as many popular or critically acclaimed movies as everyone thinks they did.

But I think the winner of them all has to be Gerard Butler. All of his moves outside of 300 have been mediocre bombs.
