It also had Jacklyn Smith from Charlie's Angels fame. The writing was pretty weak and I maybe only barely laughed once or twice. They basically minimized Sherman's storyline and definitely could've cast a better actress to play his wife.

The John Ritter storyline of him dressing up as a woman just to get on board to meet his ex is downright bizarre! Overall the storylines for all the characters ranged from bad to average. But the ambience and surroundings of being on a luxury boat are very nice so that helps in watching the show.

Is this considered a full fledged sitcom? At times it feels more like a Dramedy.
