In the episodes Father Knows Best where Larry's father visits, hi father greets Balki as if it's the first time he met him. In the pilot, Balki says his father was the one who told him to see his son Larry in Chicago.

^^^ What I'd like to know is why his mom was never shown and what was supposed to have happened with Balki's dad since we never saw him either.
