View Full Version : Have you ever won an award?
LucyCompanyPhan 06-15-2002, 01:23 AM im kinda bored and just thought i share this and ask a question along this? Have you ever won an award. Any kind of award? Well, for me, i won something very special to me just a week ago. I won class Clown. I know it seems stupid, but it means alot to me cos i love making people laugh. I was kinda surprised i got it cos the teachers voted. I've really proud, cos i did alot to deserve it. I fell, i got pies & cakes in the face, i told stories, did stand-up comedy at lunch and i got to do some at the christmas show. I'm just really pround and excited and honored all in the same bunch. I owe alot to Lucille Ball, if it wasnt for her, i wouldnt be taking pies in the face. I have fans too. LoL i had to sign like my pic with the award in the year book and this guy gave me his necklace. lol im so happy i have a stalker! lol jk
My view of life~Just be happy you werent born a Troll. I mean, think of going to school like that. Carrying around a big club. You wouldnt have any friends. You would sit alone at lunch;scaring the lunch ladies. You'd be a social outcast. Be happy about who you are and proud about being yourself. You werent born a troll and you werent born Martha Stewart. Your desented to be someone great.~Brittni Brown

Plata 06-15-2002, 09:41 PM In fourth, fifth, and seventh grade I won perfect attendance awards. I wasn't very happy with it, though. There was this girl in my math class named Cyndi who poked me in the back with scissors and somehow the ambassador award got given to her. I was so mad because throughout the whole year I was being nice to this one kid no-one else was nice to. I don't see how she got the ambassador award given to her.

Wow... I don't mean any offense or anything, but your school is pretty small. That can be a good thing, though. It's impossible to get through the hallways at LFS. Well, impossible to get through them in the five minutes allotted without getting at least a minor injury.
Sara Micelli 06-16-2002, 10:20 PM In fifth grade i was runner-up in the spelling bee. I was reading student of the month in sixth grade. A honor roll. In 3rd grade I got a writing award for poetry.
I have won a few awards for bowling when I was on a league many years ago. My highest score was 222 and I had a few high games like that for which I won awards.
When I had my own homepage/website I won about 20 awards for that..but I had to take it down because it was work related and I no longer work at that place (the awards I won were given freely by people who genuinely liked my homepage) :)
ISmellFine 06-29-2002, 05:24 PM Okay...let's see.
I've wont 5 art trophes: 3 winners and 2 runner-ups. And I've got a buttload from elementary school. I won Most Outstanding Student at Karate, and I've got academic achievement awards, board breaking certificatesm promotion awards, etc. Um...I won "best smile" in the 8th grade and crap. And my site has 5 awards...I've applied for like 3 others, so maybe I'll get 'em!

Status: 1 principals office, 1 very small library, 1 computer room (acutally it's a teachers room), a gym/audotorium, and a small lunch room. And we use the church across the street for stuff tew. We have a football field and two baseball fields tho...but ones just a practice field...for the girls cause our skewl is sexist. The guys also have a bastketball locker room, complete with personalized lockers, a big screen TV, and a little window in the wall so they can watch the game w/o going downstairs. What do the girls get? The room across the hall that is like half carpeted and has terribly crappy lockers and a ratty couch. I HATE MY SKEWL!!!
