I have to say Thelma (Bernnadette Stanis) look more attractive now than when she was on Goodtimes. Back in the days when I was youger and watching Gootimes, I never thought of Thelma as being really sexy.

But time seem to have been kind to Thelma:

JJ said in his recent interview that while he was on Goodtimes, he thought Thelma was pretty enough to pose in a sexy Pin Up girl poster for Goodtimes promotion and for its fans. But the idea was rejected by GoodTimes producer Norman Lear.

I guess Norman Lear thought that making her too glamorous would not go too well with her image living in the project on show.

I don't know if I would go so far as to say she looks better than she did on Good Times, but she's still hella fine.

She was and still is one of the most beautiful women ever! !:);)

I be if she was a better actor, she probably would have got more parts in movies and TVs. Dancing seem to be more of her talent.

She was in her early 20s when she did Goodtimes, so she can't be consider a child actors that seem to doom many other child actors that try out for acting job later in life.

I think she appeared on the Cosby show but yes she was a horrible actress lol

She's a little bit thicker, but not better looking, IMHO. About the same look wise.

Jimmie Walker and Bernadette Stanis had a mini reunion show like 2011 and Jimmie looked old enough to be her Dad despite being only six years older! O.O
