For some reason the writers hinted at a relationship between Matt and Miss Kitty but they never allowed them to kiss on the lips. Miss Kitty was allowed to kiss others on the lips but never was allowed to kiss the series star Matt Dillion on the lips. I never quite understood this. There is one episode where she gives Matt Dillon an innocent peck on the cheek but nothing which would indicate that they were in a romantic relationship. I am not sure if they wanted to keep people guessing on the nature of their relationship or not, but in any case there was very little romance if any between Matt Dillon and Miss Kitty.
