In 1995 a rap artist named Skee-Lo made his debut with the album I Wish and the title track became a top rap hit of the 90's. After a second single Top Of The Stairs from the movie Money Train came out Skee-Lo disappeared and has only released one independent album since. What set Skee-Lo apart and different from other rap artists was that he actually wrote songs with no profanity like Will Smith does that had lyrics to actually sing along with
Do you remember Skee-Lo?

I remember Skee-Lo. I had his "I Wish" CD. It was okay at best. I remember being a little disappointed in it. He's actually had two albums since then. "I Can't Stop" came out in 2000 and "Fresh Ideas" came out in 2012.

Skee-Lo has released two other albums? That's so cool because I thought he had disappeared from the music scene. I like his song I Wish because of the beat and the neat sound kind of like a 70's vibe to it

I think out of the 90's rap artists Skee-Lo should've made it even more bigger because when the song I Wish debuted I never knew that song would become huge because I like I Wish too because of the beat and it's a fun song. What song is sampled in I Wish? But I think Skee-Lo's second single Top Of The Stairs is much more fun because the song itself sounds like something out of mystery show or a detective show from the 60's. But Skee-Lo went on to be a songwriter today but I can say Skee-Lo should've been more bigger in music because he was a great rap artist
