"There isn’t a trace of" the old late-night Dave (https://www.primetimer.com/people/david-letterman) on his new Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction (https://www.primetimer.com/shows/my-next-guest-needs-no-introduction-with-david-letterman)," says Stuart Heritage. "He’s absent," says Heritage. "Sure, a Letterman is there, but it isn’t the one you know. This Letterman is like the shadow that gets left on the wall after a nuclear bomb goes off. Especially if you were a Letterman fan, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction is a strange series to sit through. There are no jokes. There’s no grouchiness. There is no longer any instinct for havoc. Instead, it’s about a kindly old man being deferential to a succession of people who only partly deserve it." Heritage points to the Kanye West interview, where Letterman gushes praise on the rapper. "The Letterman of old would have watched this show agape," says Heritage. "He used to make his guests work for praise. Now he just wheels it out on a platter." ALSO: Letterman is in India for his Netflix episode on Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news/david-letterman-visits-gauri-khans-store-poses-for-pictures/articleshow/69683315.cms).

I always thought he was awful at most everything. The only thing I liked sometimes was his Top 10 list but he didn't even write that.

He can't even hold a candle to Jay Leno and Letterman HIMSELF said Leno is the funniest person he's EVER seen!
