for me....i always write in pen. except for math class. and i always write in black, there's like a couple of times when i write in blue. i use pink, light blue, purple for signing yearbooks, lol.

I usually write in blue or black pen.

I always use black, blue or green, if I'm desparate I'll use a pencil. ;)

If I use a pen then it is black. It's usually a mechanical pencil that I'm always searching for though..

Either blue or black. I have this one big fat pen though that must have about 10 different colors in it.

Pink. My teachers look at my paper and laugh, because I write in pink, while everyone else writes in blue or black. If they find a note on the floor, "Oh, must be Karly's...." I never even hafta put my name on anything anymore, because everyone knows it's mine!

What colour I write in all depends on what I am writing.
If I'm writing notes or reports then I'll write in blue (cos the guy who shares a desk with me has stolen all my black pens!). But if I'm doing a bank rec. or any other kind of calculation (I work in an accountants office so I do a lot of that) then I'll use pencil incase I make any mistakes.

Almost always black and sometimes pencil. I think maybe I'm a fuddy duddy, otherwise I'd be more flamboyant and use any and every color. I'm sure life would be more fun for me and everyone around me if I used pink like Karli does. lol

Black or Blue. If I am writing about a painful subject, I alternate the two.

I prefer to use pens with blue ink but I'll use one with black if it's the only color available! :)
