Well MA isn't at the movie house we usually go to anymore, it finished up yesterday. So if he has his heart set on that one maybe se can find it somewhere else, but it is for by BDay so most likely Pets or Godzilla, they are both still at that theater ! ;)

My Son and I are going to the movies today! :);)

I keep seeing commercials for a movie that sounds like you’d like, but it’s not out for a week or so.

We saw Secret Life of pets ! It was really cute!!:) Maybe not as good as Pets 1 but still good!;) Had my girl Chloe, the sassy fat cat and Gidget STILL has a crush on Max ;) (Remember after Pets 1, Sven was teasing me saying I was Gidget cause of my crush on Max ) ;)and it was ironic cause she even wore a pink towel on her head in a scene !!!:eek:D

But mainly I was happy my Son liked it too :) It was nice being with him( he's my baby boy, my youngest) :heart: at a cartoon movie, lots of good old sentimental memories of when he was little and watching movies like this with him !!!:) Looking around the theater seeing young Mothers and little kids and looking at my Son who will always be my little boy and well where does the time go ?:confused::heart: And here I go again tearing up so I'll just leave it at that!!! :)


Oh and "Spoiler alert"! There was a new character ,an old "Cat Lady" who had MANY CATS !!! Maybe that is Valerie in about 20 years!!!:lol:

That is coming up soon!! ;) Also I just found out an obscure movie , a documentary on Bob Dylan directed by Martin Scorsese is coming out soon but like " Echo in the canyon " at very few theaters !;) And I will be going on my usual trip up North to see my other Son in the end of June too, that was one of the reasons we didn't see Godzilla today , thought it would be fun to see that as a group when we get up there ! ;):)

The only thing I know about the movie is the reviews aren’t that great, and that they had to recast Max from Louie CK to Patton Oswalt.

Kay Ballard had died in January and there was an obit thread for her back than. The thread got bumped up again yesterday and I mistakenly thought she had just died ! :confused:

The ep.where the Sanfords met Elizabeth, Fred''s Wife and Lamont's Mom , Elizabeth 's (who had passed away) , her niece and namesake who reminded Fred of his beloved wife. A thread was started that Lamond should have dated her!! :eek: And well myself and another poster were joking about the stereotype of "kissing cousins"( inbreeding) in W. Virginia!! :eek::D

It was really a sweet episode and Lamont wasn't interested at all in dating his cousin, it was just showing how she was reminding Fred of his beloved Elizabeth! :)

My Hub also brought up a good point! Why didn't he just shave the beard and leave his mustache? Being that mustaches were acceptable . Barney and Sgt. Harris had them! If he was so worried that he would look too young clean shaven , why not at least keep the mustache? ;) Good point right? I never thought of that before! ;)

I really did watch (some of) it. I still have picture-in -picture (remember that, where one channel is full screen with sound and a second channel is small and soundless in a corner?). So I had the Yankee game full, and tracked Barney Miller, and when a ML scene was on I reversed it. So I saw all of him.

No but really after my Hubby made that comment that he looked like CM, and I argued and punched him !:eek::D Well yeah, I mean back than when he was on Barney Miller looking like that (pre shaved) he could have very well played Charlie!:eek: Did you ever see the original Helter Skelter movie with Steve Railsback playing Manson?? He was good! That movie/ mini series was awesome/intense !!;) And over the years many actors and wanna be actors portrayed him in movies and reenactments on crime channels! Pretty much all a guy needs is wavy ,thick dark hair, brown eyes and a beard, and the ability to act kinda crazy, play a psycho !! :crazy: !! Wow!! But my point being SR was the original /first actor to play CM! And he really looked like him and did great!;) Over time as I said before all they needed was wild long dark hair, dark eyes and a beard! But even MORE recently they don't even need dark eyes or to even remotely resemble Manson! As in "Manson's lost girls" ! I have this movie on DVD! Here is the guy that played CM in it!! :D Michael Lembeck from Barney Miller could have played a much more believable Manson than him! ;)
