It has been announced that Disney/ Pixar will debut a new movie called Onward that will make it's opening debut in theaters March 2020 and is centered on a family of trolls as they settle down into a funny way of life in the modern world and discover a world different than anyone else's. Though it may seem like an animated sitcom I think Disney/Pixar has a whole new style to their films for 2020 and I think that Onward has potential to be a hit after Disney/Pixar's disappointing The Good Dinosaur and now with Toy Story 4 opening June 21st Disney/Pixar really must know that you must get back on the horse you fall off of and will try with Onward. Onward is slated to have the voices of Tom Holland Octavia Spencer and Chris Pratt

It has been announced that Disney/Pixar's Onward will debut in theaters March 6th according to Chase Disney Rewards newsletter and i'm so excited to hear more about it and already I plan to collect Onward merchandise as well. What I learned about the movie's storyline so far is that the two main characters are elf brothers named Ian and Barley who try to find a magic spell to revive their dead father so he can spend a day with them. I won't spoil the rest but I think Onward will be cool and Tom Holland and Chris Pratt will be full of humor in the roles of voicing the elf brothers

Hi, Bestie! Yes I will watch this one. Pixar usually makes good movies and the previews of this one are very funny. Do you think Pixar will still act like it's own company or will they be more Disney like?

It seems that Disney/Pixar is expecting Onward to be a huge hit and the movie hasn't even opened in theaters yet. Also McDonald's will release an Onward Happy Meal to honor the movie's release. If Onward is a monster hit I think Pixar will end their partnership with Disney and become it's own animation studio and produce it's own movies in the future. I'm already on an Onward kick and can't wait to start collecting the merchandise and the character Ian Lightfoot is so cute too

I dunno if it Onward will be a hit...many people may boycott this film because of this...

I care less...I don't watch that many Pixar or Disney Films after 1998...but I sooooo gotta see Ratatouille.

I just got my first Onward merchandise yesterday and my plush Ian Lightfoot is so cute and what amazed me about him is that he can actually hold the Mcdonald's Happy Meal toy of the wizard staff that's in the movie. I am so happy to have this because I can tell Onward merchandise will fly off shelves once the movie hits theaters Friday. I think the most popular character will be Barley Lightfoot because of his neat outfit and really fun personality because merchandise featuring him is flying off the shelves

Onward is a hit? I didn't expect it to be number one because it's such a great movie. I guess Disney/Pixar have indeed worked their magic once again

Onward is also gonna be released on April 3rd on Disney+ for those who weren't able to watch it in theaters. It does seem like a smart idea but I also wonder if Disney/Pixar will release Onward on DVD and Blu-Ray quickly as well?

I got to watch Onward a few minutes ago and I can honestly say it's a fantastic movie and filled with loads of action too. And Tom Holland was superb as the voice of Ian Lightfoot while Chris Pratt gave his all as Barley Lightfoot but the one who stole the show was Ian because he was truly like The Little Engine That Could. And I have to hand it to Disney/Pixar because Onward is one movie that is actually worth watching and the animation was superb on it as well. I do hope that Onward II is made in the future to see more of Ian and Barley's adventures
