Here is a mysterious photo from one of my books about ghosts.

I think it is hard to explain. The woman dressed in black. Does she really have no legs or are they behind that post and she is leaning or falling forward?

It looks like it's been stuck onto the photograph. I don't know exactly how it was done but even in 1917 a 16-year-old girl had the knowledge to produce this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-47897891

Yes, I've seen that photo of the "fairies" before and it's been discredited.

The photo I found, though, seems more believable, IMO.
