Don't remember if it was Tom Snyder or Bob Costas, but I think it was the Later.. program. Tim describes a vintage era show in which a political candidate buys a live spot and is unable to appear due to an issue with a slick floor and crutches. Have not seen this since it aired and would love to hear the story again.
