WHATEVER ******** MADE THE ******* DECISION TO ONLY MAKE THIS AND DISCOVERY (ALSO THE NEW TWILIGHT ZONE) AVAILIBLE ONLINE AND TO CHARGE MONEY TO WATCH THEM SHOULD BE FLOGGED!!

I live in China and can and have watched both Discovery and Twilight Zone online absolutely free. Twilight Zone isnt very good. It does pique my interest but the show is too long, has swear words (which I dont usually mind but doesnt belong here) and lacks a satisfying ending. I actually like the guy who does the Rod Serling role. But it is very dark and spooky and not all the original shows were dark and spooky and some were very uplifting. I am not giving up on it but find the show very "meh" at best.

I love Trek and am a Trekkie but I find this show so convoluted. I could hardly follow the second season storyline at all. Like the Twiight Zone, not giving up on it and happy that they are going into the 32nd or 33rd Century as outsiders and hopefully will find its groove and mark. This usually happens in Trek shows, it takes a couple of seasons to find their groove and mark and they get good.

But you dont have to pay CBS.

Star Trek: Picard not testing positively, Kurtzman reportedly fired. (https://boundingintocomics.com/2019/06/13/rumor-alex-kurtzman-fired-by-cbs-test-shows-for-star-trek-picard-are-horrible/)

The upcoming CBS All Access series Star Trek: Picard, starring Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation, is reportedly scoring 75 to 80% negative in early test screenings. According to Bounding Into Comics, showrunner Alex Kurtzman has been fired (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F4x7uCkCb0) and barred from the set.

The rumor comes from Gary Buechler aka Nerdrotic. Buechler notes a Star Trek insider contacted him and told him, “Kurtzman has been fired. He is refusing to give up the title but there are 3 producers who have taken over as showrunners.”

The source adds, “He has been replaced. He is refusing to lose the title but there are three other producer who are exercising his functions. He is not even allowed on set. He has been Orci’ed.”

..........

Buechler notes that things behind the scenes have appeared to change as Netflix allegedly passed on the upcoming Star Trek: Picard series. Amazon Prime Video secured the global rights for the Star Trek: Picard series. Each episode will air within 24 hours on Amazon Prime following the U.S. premiere on CBS All Access.

However, Buechler’s insider notes the show is not screening well. His insider tells him the show has “75 to 80% negativity. The 20% who tested positive were people who labeled themselves Abrams fans like it.”

I hope this is a big success. Then, we can look forward to “Star Trek: Riker”, “Star Trek: Beverly” and maybe even “Star Trek: Wesley”.
