My brother is trying to grill food, but the last two times he didn't do too well because my dad said he got impatient.

I hear that you shouldn't use lighter fluid...but wood, paper, and charcoal. And if you use lighter fluid...use it once.

My dad is trying to help, but I feel that my brother is about to give up...should I buy a barbecue grill and do trial and error?

Buy a bag of charcoal and put the entire bag (bag and all) in the grill and light it. Let it burn for about 20 minutes then you’re ready to put your food on the grill.
