View Full Version : Favorite and least favorite guest stars MA 05-12-2019, 06:58 PM Do you have any guest stars that you enjoyed on the show? Do you have any least favorites? MA 05-12-2019, 06:59 PM I didn't have any least favorite guest stars, but one of my favorite guest stars would have to be The Beach Boys who appeared in the Season 6 episode called The Karate Kid Returns. Heenan Fan 05-14-2019, 03:30 PM Favorites: Jack Elam and Earnest Borgnine, and the actors who played Jill's parents Least favorite: Mario Andretti. He was a very overrated racecar driver, and an absolute jerk in real life. My dad use to work for him, I've met him several times and can confirm he's trash. He was a very overrated racecar driver, and an absolute jerk in real life. My dad use to work for him, I've met him several times and can confirm he's trash. I liked Ernest Borgnine as well, but it's too bad about your experiences with Mario though. Heenan Fan 05-15-2019, 07:37 PM I liked Ernest Borgnine as well, but it's too bad about your experiences with Mario though. It's all water under the bridge now. His son Michael is cool, he was always very nice to me. He didn't get along well with Mario either. I'm trying to think of more guests stars, but I haven't watched the show much recently. I always liked the guys who played music with their tools, but I can't remember their name? MA 05-16-2019, 05:08 AM It's all water under the bridge now. I always liked the guys who played music with their tools, but I can't remember their name? The K&B Construction guys. MA 05-16-2019, 12:15 PM Here are all of the guest stars who made appearances on the show: Rodney Dangerfield Michelle Williams The Manhattan Transfer Alex Rocco Penn and Teller Robert Picardo Dan Aykroyd Dave Chappelle Jim Breuer Drake Bell Jack Elam The Beach Boys Bob Vila Tom Wopat Jay Leno Isiah Thomas John Elway Grant Hill Evander Holyfield George Foreman Jimmy Carter Alan Jackson Johnny Rutherford, Robby Gordon, Mario and Michael Andretti, Al Unser, Sr./Jr./III Jenny McCarthy Drew Carey Payne Stewart Ken Bowersox Ernest Borgnine Heenan Fan 05-17-2019, 02:07 AM My Favorites: Rodney Dangerfield (Rodney started Tim, and Tim idolized Rodney) Penn and Teller (2 of my favorite entertainers ever) Dan Aykroyd (Underrated) Jack Elam (I love this guy. I think he was great in everything he was in. Check out Cannonball Run, Support Your Local Sheriff, or 75% of every Western movie from 1960-1980) Bob Villa (I loved to watch This Old House when I was a kid) George Foreman (I am a lifelong boxing fan and George is legit one of my favorite boxer's of all-time. Cool guy too) Johnny Rutherford, Robby Gordon, Mario and Michael Andretti, Al Unser, Sr./Jr./III (I have personally met every single one of these distinguished gentlemen. All of them are cool except for scumbag Mario) M. Emmett Walsh (The Col. was a legendary character actor) Polly Holiday (She'll always be Flo in my eyes) Drew Carey (Not funny at all. Almost as worthless as Mario) Payne Stewart (A cool guy for a golfer. Sad way to die) Ernest Borgnine (Legend, McHale's Navy is a cool show) MA 05-17-2019, 12:17 PM It looks like I also forgot to mention these guest stars: Kimberly Clarice Aiken Eric Hipple Sean Jones Bill Pickel Heenan Fan 05-17-2019, 11:04 PM NFL Lions players Chris Spielman and Dave Krieg as well. MA 05-18-2019, 05:58 PM NFL Lions players Chris Spielman and Dave Krieg as well. Sorry about that. It looks like I forgot quite a few of them. Should’ve included them as well. jason88cubs 05-26-2019, 06:40 PM I felt Home improvement did a great job with guest stars. ALot of times their are overhyped or just plain boring. I would probably say the Bob Vila ones were my favorite but none stick out as disliked MA 05-26-2019, 06:45 PM I felt Home improvement did a great job with guest stars. He was on one of the Thanksgiving episodes. JO Sweet Heart 06-01-2019, 06:16 PM I loved watching Alan Jackson and the Beach Boys! Also in my opinion, Tom Wopat NEVER should've shaved off his facial hair in between his two episodes! That man looked good in his beard! God bless you and him and AJ and the Beach Boys always!!! Holly Heenan Fan 06-03-2019, 08:09 PM He was on one of the Thanksgiving episodes. OK. I remember that one now. Kind of sad when you think about it. Not only is Rodney dead, but they also demolished the Silverdome a few years ago as well. :( Heenan Fan 06-05-2019, 07:25 PM I found a few more good ones: Eric Christmas as Sir Larry Houdini Christopher McDonald as Stu Eileen Brennan as Wanda Lee Garlington as Joanie Charles Robinson as Bud (semi-regular) Noble Willingham as Mr. Binford (semi-regular) Dick O'Neil as Mr. Leonard Tom Poston as Ned/Ted Stephen Root as the exterminator Jensen Daggett as Nancy Taylor Janet DuBois as Carol/Judith |
