“I have an Archie,” Poehler told Seth Meyers, referring to her eldest son, 10-year-old Archie Arnett, whom she had with ex-husband Will Arnett. “I have to say we’re just so hungry for good news, like just a baby being born and knowing its name, everybody’s huddled by the TV – ‘a baby was born and they named it!’... I mean I love William and Harry, our gen, we love William and Harry. I have two sons, you want them to be like William and Harry. You want them to be friends but also different and one of them is in some kind of royal air force. I have a ginger… actually, now that you say it, I really feel like they’re copying me.”

She is seriously insane and unfunny.
Even if you feel that way internally, that’s something you should keep to yourself. Saying it makes you look like an egomaniac.

Clearly you can see that she was joking, but maybe just reading the comment makes her seem like it's about her ego or some such thing.
Actually I like how she's poking fun at how obsessed people were over this particular birth because it's a "royal birth" when really it's just another baby who was born and named, something that happens all the time - not really the huge deal the media made it out to be. It's nice to see someone put things into perspective.

Why would I want to copy her in anything? But these celebrities feed off one another anyway.

Well that makes sense: she evidently wears the trousers in that relationship.

Agreed. I watched the clip and she's clearly joking and just having some fun with it.
