The final episode of Steve was taped on Thursday, with original episodes to air through June. Harvey lost his timeslot on NBC stations to The Kelly Clarkson Show. But Variety reports that Steve may have been a casualty of animosity between NBC Universal and Endeavor’s IMG Original Content after IMG took over the show two seasons ago. Harvey began his daytime run in 2012 with The Steve Harvey Show, which taped in Chicago. The new version of his daytime talk show, renamed Steve, debuted in fall of 2017 and taped in Los Angeles.

To me why I think Steve Harvey's talk show got cancelled was because the producers of Steve wanted to give Steve Harvey a bigger salary and an extended contract but Steve wouldn't go for it and the producers cancelled the show anyway. But when you get the general picture Steve Harvey is a mega superstar and when he had his talk show it garnered a huge audience and won him tons of Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Talk Show Host but I think hearing this shocking news will hurt Steve Harvey's career and will cause him to go downhill and because of this Fremantle Media will probably not have Steve Harvey host Family Feud anymore and not have anything to do with him. As announced Melissa McCarthy will replace Steve Harvey as the new host of NBC's Little Big Shots and his shows Celebrity Family Feud and Steve Harvey's Funderdome have probably been cancelled by ABC. But I hope Steve Harvey does recover from this shock and be successful again because if this stress continues I think Steve Harvey's career will soon be over and the road to superstardom will end for him

Unless Steve Harvey is continuing to host the syndicated Family Feud for the 2019-2020 season & host his own weekday radio show for now.
