Before welcoming the cast of the HBO comedy to The Late Show Thursday night, Colbert aired a "crossover episode" with Veep. "Stop! I beg you, stop!" Colbert said when he encountered the Veep characters. "Who in the intergalactic f*ck are you?" Selina Meyer responded. "My name is Stephen Colbert and I come from a different dimension," Colbert explained. "The things that you're doing on this earth then happen in my world, over and over again." Colbert then proceeded to run down all the horrible things in real life that Veep has predicted. But the Veep characters couldn't care less. "Seriously, you look like Letterman took the least funny dump of his life into a child suit!" Selina said at the end of the scene.
