In 1988 who can recall when Pat Sajak and Vanna White appeared on the soap opera Santa Barbara when the character Gina appeared as a contestant on Wheel Of Fortune when she was playing the bonus round and guessed the correct answer to the puzzle "blackmail" in the nick of time before the buzzer sounded and won? When I saw this game show clip it inspired me to think of game shows that have had soap opera stars play for charity. I do know that the cast of Passions appeared on Louie Anderson's Family Feud and appeared on The Weakest Link playing for charity as well. And there was even soap opera stars on GSN's Catch 21 that won money for their charity and soap opera actor Cameron Mathison appeared on The Chase too. Why game shows with soap opera stars are fun is they bring a lot of excitement to the show and are fun to watch
