Dear Nick at Nite Viewer Services,

I have a proposal for Nick at Nite: to make a deal with Disney-ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution for Nick at Nite to start airing reruns of the hit '90s Disney sitcom "Boy Meets World" starting September 2, 2019.

Created by Michael Jacobs, "Boy Meets World" originally aired on the ABC Television Network (owned by Disney since 1995) from September 24, 1993 - May 5, 2000, spanning 7 seasons of 158 Half-Hour Episodes; the series was conceived as a starring vehicle for Ben Savage (younger brother of "The Wonder Years'" Fred), who was cast as the lead character without ever auditioning.

Ben appeared as Cory Matthews, a Typical American 11-year-old 6th-Grade boy living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; like most boys his age, Cory still lived with his parents: dad Alan (William Russ), a blue-collar worker, and mom Amy (Betsy Randle), a typical '90s Homemaker, as well as his teenager brother Eric (Will Friedle) and little Kindergartener sister Morgan (Lily Nicksay).

Cory's 6th-Grade teacher as John Adams Middle School was Mr. George Feeny (William Daniels), who also happened to be Cory's next-door neighbor, while his best friends and classmates were Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) and his future wife, Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel), whom Cory married towards the end of the series at age 17 in 1999.

In September 1994, at the start of the series' 2nd season, Cory, Shawn and Topanga enrolled as 7th-Graders at John Adams High School; joining them were Mr. Feeny, the new School Principal, and their new Homeroom and English teacher, Mr. Jonathan Turner (Tony Quinn), who a year later became Shawn's legal guardian after Shawn's father, Chet, abandoned him.

In May 1998, Cory, Shawn and Topanga, by this time age 16, graduated from John Adams High, and that Fall enrolled at Pennbrook College, where they were joined by Shawn's half-brother, Jack (Matt Lawrence), who re-appeared in Shawn's life a year earlier, and Rachel McGuire (Maitland Ward); after retiring from teaching, Mr. Feeny likewise enrolled at Pennbrook, attempting to be there strictly as a Student until the College's Dean Bollander (Bonnie Bartlett) promoted him to Professor and Colleague at the College.

The following year, not only did Mr. Feeny get married at the end of Season 6, but Cory and Topanga, after a Series-Long Courtship, likewise got married in December 1999, with Shawn serving as Cory's best man; in the Hour-Long Finale telecast, a number of events occurred--among them, Cory and Topanga left Philly for New York City; Jack and Rachel enlisted in the U.S. Peace Corps; and in the Final Scene of the Series, the Principal Characters joined up in their old 6th-Grade Classroom for a Final Lesson from Mr. Feeny.

Please replace "Full House" with this--and thanks.

Sincerely,
Steve Arino

That would be cool to see Boy Meets World on Nick@Nite but the show is not really old enough to be on that channel 1993 was not that long ago maybe in 5 to 10 years when it is 30 to 35 years old.
