Do you think they just try acting and after a couple roles they just quit?? She's the cute secretary Sheila in the season 5 episode "Jack to the Rescue". Info on Amy Nachbar is at the bottom.
Jack kind of hits on her when he goes to Mr.Hadley's office to save Cindy's job. Later in the episode Jack catches Sheila and Mr.Hadley making out in his office!
I wonder if there was a guest star on TC whose ONLY acting credit was TC? Or how many actors have only ONE acting credit to their name and never act again??

Actors with only Three's Company as their acting credit:
Ralph Grasso who played the guitarist in "The Impossible Dream"
Jim Sullivan who played BJ (Jack's old navy buddy) in "The Love Lesson"
Jennifer Walker, who played Terri's sister Samantha in "Terri Makes Her Move"
Josephine Livingston, who played Lili (one of the older ladies Leo moves in with) in "Old Folks at Home"
Brian Kend, the baby in "The Babysitters"
Jennifer Storey, the little girl in "Father of the Bride"
Je'net Carmen, who played Diana in "The Brunch"
Carol McAdam, the attending nurse in "Forget Me Not"
Thom Fleming as Robert in "Up in the Air"
With only one other acting credit besides Three's Company:
Dean Taliaferro, as Bridget the maid (one of Jack's dance partners) in "Up in the Air"
Nadia Caillou, the belly dancer in "Good Old Reliable Janet"
Sarah Smith, who played the girl that knocked on the Ropers' door to return Jack's sweater in "Cyrano de Tripper"
Mark Siegel, the second guy who comes to apply for the job in "And Baby Makes Two"
David warschaw, the little boy from "Father of the Bride"
Amy Nachbar, Sheila from "Jack to the Rescue"

A lot of these people seem like they were either extras who got lucky with a speaking part or who dabbled in acting while pursuing careers in other areas of Hollywood, like behind the camera or special effects. Or they were brought in specially, like the guitarist or the kids.
Also, the lower the profile the cheaper the actor.

Nice list!
I wonder what it would be like to have only ONE(or 2) acting credits and one of them was such a HUGE show like TC? I wonder if some of them have gotten recognized in public because this show has been seen ZILLIONS of times all over the world and has been in syndication almost 4 DECADES!
Some freelance journalist should try and track them down and ask them about their role in one of the biggest sitcoms ever. I know its not the only thing they look at but Amy Nachbar was attractive & did well enough in her speaking part that she could've had more roles if she wanted.

Could be a casting couch type situation, where a lot of aspiring actresses became disenchanted with what they would have to do in the acting field.
Sadly, Threes Company seems like it could easily be that kind of environment.

Are you implying they would have to sleep with someone to get a part??

In a 1970's male-dominated TV network? Absolutely.
I'd be more surprised if casting couch stuff didn't happen at ABC/Three's Company.

So in essence you're saying some of those female guest stars slept with someone high up whether a producer, director, etc.
Why not say say Suzanne, Joyce, Jenilee, and/or Priscilla slept with someone to get their roles? After all they'd earn MILLIONS from this role! I think I might sleep with someone for that role!

I think that's entirely possible and I say that without judgement; women had very little power at a time where showbiz was especially sleazy.
You do what ya gotta do.

I'd like to hear just ONE star admit they slept with someone to get a role.

That's true, but the main female stars of Three's Company either came from solid careers or situations that couldn't be leveraged against them. Audra Lindley was an established actress; Joyce DeWitt was already under contract with ABC when she was placed with the show; Suzanne was picked by Fred Silverman who saw her on Johnny Carson's show; Jenilee was never too enamored with showbiz and prob would've walked away if pressured; and Priscilla Barnes was already reluctant to audition again for Terri after she was rejected when she auditioned for Cindy.
As for guest stars, who knows. But I think the main stars avoided that problem.
