For my birthday I got an album by Sade and I started liking her when I saw her music video for her song No Ordinary Love as a little girl and I thought she was cute dressed as a mermaid in the video. Sade first made her debut in 1984 with her debut album Diamond Life which produced the hit Smooth Operator while Sade is actually the name of the group Sade's actual name is Sade Adu and when she first came out her albums carried the disclaimer "Pronounced shar-day" so that people knew how to pronounce her name correctly. Sade also had hits with the songs Your Love Is King The Sweetest Taboo Mermaid Cherish The Day and Pearls and continues to amaze people with the albums Lovers Rock and Soldier Of Love. It's a shame you don't see singers like Sade today because her music style is so relaxing and refreshing to listen to
