In 1986 CBS launched Fresno a drama miniseries that parodied soap operas and drama shows and was centered on the lives of a Fresno based family much like Dynasty with episodes full of action and adventure. Fresno starred Carol Burnett Dabney Coleman Gregory Harrison Teri Garr and the late Bill Paxton and was such an awesome drama series that I'm surprised that CBS didn't decide to make Fresno a full drama series rather than a miniseries of five episodes. And Fresno would be a great miniseries to put on DVD as well because it's so cool
