Hey!

The Golden Palace was aired on another network, and I'm not sure if it is owned by the same company who put out Golden Girls.

I'm trying to find contact information so I can ask the company to put it out as a DVD or streaming. Never hurts to at least ask!

I doubt they'll ever do a professional DVD release, because there weren't enough episodes to make it financially worthwhile. I think a tv show being popular enough to go to syndication factors into their decision also, and of course, GP did not.

But here's a link to where I got my copy of the entire season. It just appears to be copied off of a tv set and doesn't have all the extras and goodies a professionally produced copy would, but at least you can watch all 24 or 25 episodes. I enjoyed the series.

We could always hope Disney will do a MOD release or re-release The Golden Girls as a boxset and Include The Golden Palace as a extra.
