HBO Confirms 2020 Returns for "Westworld", "Insecure" & "Curb Your Enthusiasm"

HBO has confirmed drama series "Westworld" will return for its third season in 2020, along with the fourth season of "Insecure" and season 10 of "Curb Your Enthusiasm".

The premium cabler’s new comedic thriller comedy "Run" also is slated to premiere in 2020.

HBO programming president Casey Bloys suggested to Vulture that the delay was due to Issa Rae's movie career. “Well, Issa became a big movie star!” (https://www.vulture.com/2019/04/hbo-greenblatt-bloys-game-of-thrones.html) Bloys told Vulture. “We’re not the first place to deal with this, but when you’re in business with very creative and talented people, there’s a lot more opportunities for people to do things.” One Insecure fan tweeted of the delay: "I’m so so happy that Issa Rae is booked and busy but (crying emoji) I need my Insecure."

During her TCA panel Wednesday for her next HBO series "A Black Lady Sketch Show", on which she is executive producer, Issa Rae said her Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated comedy series "Insecure" is currently being hammered out in the writers room and that it’s “shooting in September.”

And they’ll be more episodes in Season 4: 10, per Rae. Each previous season has featured eight episodes.
