It's true. They didn't do anything when Erin Moran died, if I remember correctly. And I don't think they've aired it on a regular basis since the summer of 2017. I don't know why. It's a classic show, and a much better one than Hogan's Heroes that's been hogging up the 10pm timeslot for a few years now. I miss years ago when MeTV would have shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, The Odd Couple, etc. in primetime but now they don't. And... 3 hours of Gilligan's Island on Sundays is very, very excessive. One hour is enough. It didn't even last that long. You could have 4 sitcoms including Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley during that time...go figure that they don't. Smh.

While MeTV treats it badly, where I live it's doing just fine. Happy Days is on CHCH TV every day at 5:30 after Cheers and it gets treated just fine. This week, its Facebook fans voted the show as having the #1 theme song among the shows on CHCH's daytime schedule, which also happen to include Hogan's Heroes, Laverne and Shirley, Mary Tyler Moore, I Love Lucy, and One Day At A Time.

Now if they could only use the weekends to do what Me TV does: 2 hours of the Brady Bunch, 3 hours of Gilligan's Island, 1 hour of the Monkees. I fail to see why it is such a bad idea.

Happy Days season 2 is on CBS All Access streaming. I just saw the first episode of that season, and it has the written out of the show, older brother.

In some odd ways, it has parallels to Family Matters.
-One kid in the family written out of the show.
-Change of direction with show, but probably more prominent with Happy Days.
-Non family member Fonzie taking over Happy Days. Non family member Urkel taking over Family Matters.

But the difference has White family and cast, where Family Matters has a Black family, Fonz being cool and Urkel being nerdy.

It would make sense for Happy Days on Decades if not MeTV. But I think even if CBS has a 50% share of Decades, it's likely managed by Weigel. CBS now has 100% of Pop, but Pop appears to be shows from the 90's forward.
