I was reading the messages on the Frasier Yahoo Group and I came across a message that Frasier gave Sam his dog Pavlov and Sam renamed it Diana? Is that true? If it is then Sam was still in love with Diane when he renamed it. Hmmmmmmm....

It's true, he renamed the dog Diane. I think Sam did that to get under Frasier's skin more than he was in love with Diane. (Even though we all know he still held a torch for Miss Chambers)

Diane was allergic to dogs and Frasier gave it up to Sam, I think.

Yes that's true, but eventually Frasier wanted his little doggie back.

I don't think Diane was allergic to the dog. She thought she was, but then it turned out she was allergic to Frasier instead. :)
