In the 90's Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High book series was made into a teen soap opera and featured all new storylines exclusive to the soap opera. When the Sweet Valley High soap opera came out Mom showed me an episode once and I thought it was decent though I much perferred the book series more. I was a fan of Sweet Valley High books though I started with the Sweet Valley Kids book series which followed the Wakefield twins at age seven I have some of the Sweet Valley High books in a box in my storage locker along with other teen books. It's a surprise that Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High books became a soap opera for teens and has spun off many different Sweet Valley High series since it's debut in 1983. While this soap opera didn't last long enough it is worthy of a watch

This show came up last night when I was out to dinner with a group of old friends I hadn't seen in a while, since before the pandemic broke out. We were talking...well, gossiping... about another group of former acquaintances and the "drama" they had been involved in over the years, when I suddenly started singing the theme song to Sweet Valley High! It just popped into my head! We all started to laugh, and it was a fun shared memory for everyone at the table! :lol: :lol: :lol:
