Which adult was the best role model for Beaver?

Mr. Gus.

He Gus gave Beaver advice that no one could give him. He knew the human condition and had years of experience. Loved that character!! He could advise Beaver as a little boy and as a troubled adolescent. He never talked down to him. Can’t believe they didn’t have a whole episode about Gus retiring.
