Today, child prot. services would undoubtedly get involved, and parents would be in trouble.

Maybe that scoundrel who sold Beaver those big skates. He might have gotten fired when Ward contacted the BBB.

Eddie could have been arrested for changing Beaver’s grade if Ward contacted the superintendent.

Fred should have been arrested for that personality.

Eddie and Lumpy could have been arrested for damaging Lumpy’s car if Fred called the cops.

I think those kids should have gotten arrested for that crazy dancing and Beaver trying to twist.
