This was one of the most mysterious/otherworldly segments on UM. A Polish Canadian says he had a close encounter with a UFO that LANDED in Falcon Lake Manitoba!

He got burns on his torso from the encounter & they recovered radioactive pieces of metal from the landing site. It's the best documented UFO sighting in the history of Canada!

Any comments on this case?

I really doubt paint on a watch would throw off a Geiger counter. Plus that skeptic doesn't even know if Michalak was wearing the watch at the time. Also neither the skeptic nor the doctors could exactly say how he got those burns. Even those doctors didn't say he's lying.

Why does even the CBC not question his credibility as recently as 2017? With all that being said I agree there are major problems with his story & he could've faked it.

Some key questions the didn't answer. Did he ever show them the burnt glove? Did anyone in the general area see the spaceship? And I still say it's strange WHY would Michalak make this up out of the blue? Did he ever get paid anything for this before he died in 1999?

Radium paint wasn't banned until the 1960's. We don't know a lot of things & never will-but it is a reasonable hypothesis. I am sure there are many burn patterns/injuries doctors cannot say exactly how they happened, just like a pathologist might night not be able to tell exactly what weapon was used in a homicide.

He may not have made any/much money-but no doubt the intention was likely there-why else would you refuse a ride home from the cops & then phone up a newspaper to ask for one while you give them your story? Either that or he just wanted to be famous/feel important-after all he hawked that story around the media for decades.

He should've taken a lie detector test to help his credibility. I know they're not foolproof but law enforcement uses them for a reason. If he was lying this would likely pick it up.
