Rob Silverstein has helmed the NBC entertainment show since 1999, overseeing the show's expansion with Access Live. He also was in charge of during the infamous 2016 Donald Trump-Billy Bush Access Hollywood tapes revelation. Maureen FitzPatrick, who has been working as a consultant on Access shows, will serve as the new executive producer.

The TV journalist is exiting after three years co-hosting the daily entertainment news show. Morales will continue working for NBC News as West Coast anchor for Today and correspondent for Dateline.
