What would you say is Whitney Houston’s signature song?
Personally, I’d say “I Will Always Love You”.
I’m not sure exactly what her signature song is but if that song is her “best”, then I think it’s actually a first where 2 artists have the same signature song; Dolly of course being the other artist.

"I'm Every Woman" is my favorite but I wouldn't consider it to be her signature song. As much as I despise her version of "I Will Always Love You" I would have to agree that it is her signature song and it was the biggest hit of her career. Same for Dolly Parton, but it wasn't her biggest hit. That was "Here You Come Again." No matter the artist (unless they're a one hit wonder) signature songs are going to be subjective. Johnny Cash is a prime example of this. Reasonable arguments could be made for "I Walk the Line", "Ring of Fire" "A Boy Named Sue", "Folsom Prison Blues" ETC... but his biggest hit was "Ballad of a Teenage Queen" which many wouldn't consider to be his signature song.

The reason I say “IWALY” is Dolly’s signature song is because she always closes her concerts with it and she considers it her biggest and most popular hit, even though it’s really not.
“Here You Come Again” is currently my phone ringtone. I rotate it with “Jolene”.
