Last night, I was watching a new episode of the Investigation Discovery series Dead of Night and the episode discussed the 1985 murder of Morris Davis. As you will recall, Morris Davis was the man who was gunned down in a vacant house in Montana while delivering a pizza. UM profiled the case in 1990. The Dead of Night episode, titled "That's My Brother," includes an interview with Morris's brother Cliff Davis, who was also interviewed on UM. On DON, Cliff gets noticeably teary-eyed, as it is obvious that, even almost 34 years after the fact, he never got over his brother's murder.
The episode also discussed the possibility of a link between Morris's murder and the 1986 murder of Suzette Pritchard, who was stabbed to death in the convenience store she worked at. Like Morris Davis, Suzette Pritchard was murdered in Great Falls, MT. Although Suzette's murder was never featured on UM, her killer, Donald DuBray, was suspected of killing Morris Davis. Cliff Davis got in touch with DuBray. And according to Cliff, not only did DuBray have specific knowledge of the case, but he also claimed that he was at the house when Morris was shot but wasn't the triggerman. To this day, Morris's murder remains officially unsolved. DuBray died in prison in 2016
